Bernie is greatly missed by colleagues and patients alike.
The high standards of real patient care and quality and cosmetic solutions continue under the new management of John Matthew RDT, Calum Jack BDS and Bernie's wife Marina Kitching.
Calum Jack BDS
With over 25 years experience in dentistry; Calum is now considered by his peers to be a leader and innovator in the field of cosmetic dentistry.
Calum qualified in Edinburgh in 1981 and worked in private practice in Middlesbrough where he was the official Dental Surgeon to Middlesbrough F.C.
Calum returned to Edinburgh in 1988 to specialise in the art of cosmetic dentistry.
Calum is now considered one of the foremost cosmetic dentist's in the U.K.
Calum believes in an intense continuing education programme and has attended many advanced post graduate courses ensuring that the elite team at Dentacare are kept up to date with all the latest advances in cosmetic dentistry.
John Matthew RDT
John qualified in Edinburgh in 1992 and then became manager of Tay Dental in Dundee. John then moved to A Plus in Dundee which is one of the top private labs in the U.K
In order to improve his skills and further his knowledge John then moved to Australia for a year to work in the world famous Ceramica cosmetic Dental laboratory in Sydney.
Ceramica is known as the “Dental Lab to the stars “and John learned to achieve standards in precision, aesthetic, and unequalled f unction that are guaranteed to satisfy the most demanding of patients.
John's passion at Dentacare is to provide dentures that are so realistic that even the dental professional thinks that they are natural.
Marina Kitching
Marina started her career working as telephonist / receptionist at Aitken Kinnear Solicitors.
More recently she was the telephonist / receptionist at the Scottish Examination Board now known as the Scottish Qualification Authority.
Now as the first point of contact at Dentacare Marina is always happy to be of assistance in any way possible ,whether it is just to check an appointment or ask directions Marina will do her best to help you!
Dear Calum, Bernie & John,
Thank you for all your kindness and help to me, I am delighted with my new teeth. Two days after wearing them I felt a reduction in the jaw and face ache, and following discussion with Bernie & John I have worn them every night, as Calum advised possible, with great benefit. Thank you so much, this was a completely unexpected bonus to getting my teeth. Close family and friends have commented, I look different, have more confidence and eat more quickly . I greatly appreciate the thought , design and engineering
